Before retiring in 2016, Walter “Griff” Garrison was the lead homicide investigator at the Richmond County, GA, Sheriff’s Office, where he worked for six years. Garrison started his law enforcement career as a deputy sheriff in the Uniformed Division and was later assigned to the Violent Crimes Division, which handled all crimes against persons of a high and aggravated nature. Garrison was also a member of the SWAT team as a hostage negotiator.
You can also find Griff as one of the Lead Hunters on CBS’ new competition reality series Hunted. The show, based on the UK format, is getting a high-profile launch pad — it premiers immediately following the NFL’s AFC Championship Game, on Sunday, January 22, at about 10 PM ET/7 PM PT. Hunted, in which ordinary people go on the run as fugitives and try to evade capture by an elite team of investigators, will move to Wednesdays on January 25 with a two-hour (8-10 PM) episode, before settling into its regular Wednesday 8-9 PM slot.
